In the old days they where easy to spot now with the tiny lights their cars are impossible, certainly in London, and they drive everything, my last two chats where an unmarked Astra van! and a VW mini transit thing R version, both fully blued n twod ....535dboy wrote:So how many you up to then?D_K wrote:Buying a road angel tonight.
Gonna order a Touareg I think!
Road angel are good but won't account for unmarked cop cars (we have S3s and new A6 S-lines down here)
Touareg won't help, I got nicked in the X5. 82 on a dual carriageway, early Sunday morning with nothin else around in good visibility. That was a bike cop too, not a scamera van

Re: Good day Bad day
It used to be easy because all the cars had number plates starting GX down here which seems to only be police, fire and ambulance vehicles (oh and my lotus for some reason!) So you used to know to watch out for any car with that plate as chances are it was unmarked traffic.Dave_Hedgehog wrote:In the old days they where easy to spot now with the tiny lights their cars are impossible, certainly in London, and they drive everything, my last two chats where an unmarked Astra van! and a VW mini transit thing R version, both fully blued n twod ....535dboy wrote:So how many you up to then?D_K wrote:Buying a road angel tonight.

My Audi dealer then told me that the cars now have regular plate swaps and also cars come from different counties to really confuse us. The A6 mentioned above actually has a plate starting RF

Money well spent,I've had one for nearly ten years so many changes in speed limits on the same stretch of a road[think they do it on purpose to generate income] its too easy to rack up the points nowadays road angel will make you more aware of your speed and surroundings.
