B7 Avant Alarm going off intermittently

Audi are using advise that a back window has been smashed. Also noticed the rear window takes an age to defrost and the radio signal is not good, so it could all be related.

They are all related - it sounds like the elements on your rear window(s) have been damaged by something you've had in the back of the car

Problem Solved...new rear (audi) windows at a cost of £400 all in. Alarm is no longer sounding, radio signal is much better and rear heated window also working well.
Whether this was caused by a pet in the boot or the removal of tints I will never know. Bought this car a matter of months ago and zero assistance from the dealer, another lesson learnt !
