Not really, the metallic bits of the pipes are corroded and leak. From the side and bottom, so it is not due to the fact that they rub against each other or not,
the plastic bit that keep them seperate is there allright... I guess the metal Audi used for these 2 parts is second class... :bash:

Is there any easy way to check my car for this problem?

yes, the metallic parts of the 2 pipes are easy to see once you have the car up. They are located pretty much on the centre, underneath the front tray. There should be a little plastic yoke that keeps them seperate from each other. If you see traces of rust on them, then I guess they will fail soon enough.. Gosh, I hope I make sense..

Brilliant! the front wheel are genuinely as new. I cannot detect any shade difference and the feel of the wheels is really even.
10/10 :blackrs4:
at the end thay had to change the oil cooler as well as the oils pipes, but kept the price as promised, so well done Audi Sandyford! :blackrs4:

Gosh, the list of the stuff done on the car over the last 2 months is getting longer!..

They had the car for 3 days so not sure how long the wheels took,
They did the balance as well as brand new weights are shining through ;)
