Auedi customer care are going through a change over period now, you will find most of the people you may or may not have been dealing with have now gone!

I have a good idea how things work with them.
Customers making constant contact is not the way to resolve an issue, the dealers need to keep sending in the QCR's and then Germany have to do something.

I phoned and told them about my wheels buckled and what did they say?? we have no issue with RS6 alloys!!
How many people have had buckled wheels???? I know of 4 owners who had at least 2 go on there car

There response was still the same, I gave them information to follow but they only turned to there Tech dept.

As a gesture I got £100 credit to use at my dealer :-) pay for the oil in the service, 1 hrs labour

The DRC issue will just be an on going thing, I'm sure the B7 RS4 boys will be saying the same, I know for a fact they are having issues with the DRC on the B7 knocking and constantly need bleeding out every 3 weeks

I agree entirely, so much so infact I will be looking to have the superb Bilstein PSS9's fitted in the not too distant future....

Here's hoping that the new RS6 will not be plagued by the dreaded DRC bugs!!!

The only thing we can all do is ensure the DEalers have sent in a QCR about every DRC issue they have, this is the only place Audi get there info from!

From the customer it is heresay not fact...even though they know our cars are in and we are bleating down the phone in anger at them, they won't use this information, sad but ture.

Phil it would be grate for them to come back to you with an answer or a cure but I can't see this happening.

Tom is the man at Customer services if we all wrote to him saying the same things this may do something?

Seeing as though you have been spearheading this issue with ACS Phil I personally would rather you were to remain as our point of contact!!! :?

Do you really need reminding on a weekly basis??

I saw PhilT has been trying to sell his car, maybe he succeeded, which may have some bearing on his willingness to boldly go etc etc

I have now sold mine, too. Someone else's problem now. Awful attitude I know but really fed up with lack of any meaningful assistance from Audi. Mirrored by the lack of any progress under this thread which at one time showed some promise.

I really do hope this gets sorted out for everybody's sake, but suspect PhilT is not the way to go as heard absolutely nothing of any value whatsoever and am fed up of asking for updates which I have now done on a weekly basis for the last month. It is vaguely reminiscent of dealing with Audi Customer Services !!! Lots of platitudes and then nowt !!

Those who are willing to get more proactive with Audi would doubtless benefit from knowing the details of your contact person at Audi assuming you had managed to get some way up the food-chain.

Good luck to you all - I loved the car but recent months of ownership spoilt by this issue.

That's ludicrous!!!

anyone know how the RS4 B7 is faring...? same system as I understand it - if so, this is very soon going to be an AUDI DRC Problem...

I know they are having issues with this system too, 1 case is a constant knock from the front which goes away once the system has been rebleed through, lasts about 3 weeks then starts knocking again :-(

oh dear... Audi had better get their act together on this one, and quick - they may have been able to fumble through this one so far, but there are many more RS4s out there than RS6s...

Absolutely. You would think that some feedback would get back to the factory (even the number of spares ordered should set alarm bells ringing) and they would redesign the system and beef it up a bit. Is anyone photogenic enough to appear on watchdog? Must be worth it to meet Julia Bradbury. ;)

Have just posted the following to Audi CEO in Ingolstadt

I am fortunate enough to be an owner of an RS6 saloon and am of the belief it is the best car I have owned and driven.

However, it has come to my notice many owners have suffered numerous failures with the Dynamic Ride Control suspension system. Out of 50 owners polled on RS246.COM, 40 have had serious problems with the DRC and this represents 80% of owners(http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... viewresult ). Mathematically this is statistically significant and must be indicative of a serious design flaw. There are also a high number of complaints on RS6.COM. Many of your formerly loyal owners have become so fed up they have gone and bought an M5 or a 911. I believe Audi should acknowledge the problem and have a recall and replace it with a reliable suspension setup.

Please note I have had no problems with my own suspension but am worried it is only matter of time.

nice one, I thick I'll have to do the same thing tomorrow.

I did offer in the beginning to start making contact but PhilT told me not to worry as he would do the leg work.

Phil, what leg work has been done as I can't say I've seen any feedback since this topic started two months ago.
RSVI wrote:I think this is a great Idea.

Who is the right person for the job (letter composer)

I would offer but there are better RS6 letter writers about I'm sure.
PhilT wrote:What exactly is the point of the letter/communication?

Don't forget, RS246 has links to both Audi UK, Germany, and quattro GmbH. We might not need a letter per se....
 :bash:

RSVI wrote:I think the point of the letter is to tell them that a large group of RS6 owners have got together and decided that the DRC is not worth having if it breaks every 2.5-3.5 years.
A group of Pi$$ed off owners that want Audi to do something about it before someone gets hurt or worse.
Like a lot of companies, nothing will be done until a fatality and the finger pointed at DRC, or until strong group of RS6 owners tell it how it is.

When i get time I'll try and do some homework, does anyone know some good contacts in Audi to start with over the phone?

Thanks

Let me have a go at this first....

This was all said on the 12th March :(

Sometimes I feel like putting the RS6 through the Audi UK window.
