Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Thanks Eddie. I hope so. I'm a bit more hopeful too after seeing the White one at Blackburn Audi with the darker looking Titan trim.
Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Mike I think the Titan optics looks perfect on a black car. Sometimes too much black is just a bit over kill. Alu looks awful IMO but that Titan looks just right. It's breaking my heart to see you guys moving closer to your delivery days. I'm starting to really miss my car but heyho I guess I'll be back in one when I decide to move house and find a new truck park to park the Lorry.

Hey Mike ! Thats for sure gonna look mean as Feck.
What colour seats did you go with in the end ? I went and spec'd one up just to see what other options were on the new one and it gave the option of Blue stitching which really pissed me off as i was wanting blue stitching for my RS6 , but it was gonna cost stupid money as it was considered exclusive interior - Typical !

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
I'm liking the look of the car Mike. the new style wheels look cool as fu# and the titanium pack looks good too from what I've seen of the German cars that have been posted online.
Plenty of pictures once you pick it up please. You wont be disappointed.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Yeah I got the half leather half Alcantara with blue hexagon / honeycomv stitching. I original ordered the Blue carbon but changed my order for normal carbon interior trim.
I asked Blackburn Audi if the PE they have feels any quicker than a normal RS6 and they replied yes it shoves you back into the seat and is relentless but the normal one does that anyway so not sure if it was just salesman BS.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
I hope so, still worried the titanium will be too light in the flesh. I guess I could get it wrapped a darker shade in the short term whilst I decide whether to paint it the same colour as shown on the configurator or swap it for carbon trim.Bamf wrote:I'm liking the look of the car Mike. the new style wheels look cool as fu# and the titanium pack looks good too from what I've seen of the German cars that have been posted online.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Just give it a week or so after you pick it up. Even if it is slightly lighter shade than you hoped for it'll still look mean as. But I understand where your coming from, when you have an image in your head of how you want your car to look its hard to see it any other way. If its not for you like you said a quick fix would be to wrap it, and then pick up the carbon parts to swap over. you could re coup some of the cost by selling on the titanium parts.
Plus the first few weeks will be more about driving it rather than how it looks, well it was for me.

heathens !!! - I used to wash a select car every night after work !!!!!
You need to get the car as you want it either with titanium or black otherwise it will forever stick out to you. deep down we know what we must do. Go with the heart its what made you go for the RS6 to start with.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
Apologies my last post wasn't meant to hurt/be disrespectful.
I know from my own experience if something is not right then even though I can try to convince myself it is ok and to everyone else its is brilliant - but still to me its not how I imagined/aimed for - so I resign myself to accepting that if I can, I alter it. If I can not alter it then to relax and accept.

Yes if it doesn't look as good as I was hoping for it will be changed to look as good as I know it can.
I'll take a look on Instagram for more photos. Hopefully there might even be one in a dealer near me.

Re: Ordered an RS6 Performance
I'd imagine that the Titanium is like the old B7 RS4 Titanium option (L8AU)
But it does look a little lighter pictured below, sorry It's not really helping the issue Mike
:
Might be worth seeing if there's any RS7 PE pictures out there?
