Hey guys! Picked up a RS6 -08
High mileage car but much money thrown into it.
It needs some love though!
In the past I have used the oemepc.com site to look up part numbers and diagrams - sadly that site seems to have been shut down.
First off is the crankcase breather system.
Need to replace basically all the hoses, pipes and one way valves. Ive ordered the 2 big pipes that goes along the firewall but looking for the rest:
Oil separator(on the oil catch) and its hoses
PCV valve near the left cyl bank and the hoses
All the one way valves and prob the hoses
Also noticed that both airfilter boxes had the small hose connector broken off - the hose that goes down to the turbos so need new filter boxes as well. Symptoms driving with those broken?
Also curious about these water pipes thats commonly is corroded - are those located on the drivers side on a left hand drive cars?
Last thing:
What valve is located under the small plastic trim in frokt of the engine? Some prev owner seems to have bypassed it - not sure why and what it does? I would need a routing diagram to fix that.
New into RS6's.. have some questions!

Welcome aboard.
TPS would be your start point followed by ECP/CP4L for consumables such as pads/brakes etc.
Good luck!

Thnx for the answer!
no26 on the attached diagram is the valve/solenoid that has been altered. Mounted on the intake under the v10 cover. The diagram doesnt say which part number it has nor how it should be connected to the intake etc.
Found a image online, should it be connected to the intake via 2 ports and a third port to the diverter valves?

The RS6 is very complex and you really need to understand a lot to go troubleshooting. One of the best places to start is VAG SSP 431:

and click on Download PDF.

For part numbers and diagrams have a look here - https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+rs6+r ... /2008-641/
For the specific Crankcase parts you're after look here - https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+rs6+r ... 103050/#25
Oil Separator is Item 25
Crankcase NRV's are item 1 (3 of them)
Airbox NRV's are item 3 (two of them)
For connection it should the bottom port goes to a T-piece which then goes to each DV along pipes 24 and 25 as shown in your diagram. Then for the last two ports - as shown in the diagram linked below, one port goes to the Vacuum reservoir (item 39) and to the last goes the intake manifold (the right one in the photo you gave).
The Pt No is 07L906270 if you need to buy one, it's item 32 on this diagram - https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+rs6+r ... 145010/#32
Hope that helps.

It's the N249 valve, it uses vacuum pressure to help open the two diverter/dump/blow-off valves (item 9 on your image) which are molded (one per side) into the bottom of the airboxes. With it disconnected you may find driving is a little jerkier/less smooth at low/medium boost/throttle than if you have it connected and working, it's a fairly common Audi S3 engine mod IIRC where I've hear most about it but on the RS6 it's extremely rare.ChrisOsbakk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 3:17 pmno26 on the attached diagram is the valve/solenoid that has been altered.
