1 month on with an RS6

Post by syndrome » Mon Sep 14, 2020 9:41 pm

Hello all,

Thought I ought to post here as I've had my RS6 for over a month now so I needed to cover off rule 1. I've posted before though, so I'm already familiar with rule 2 :D
My only regret over buying this car is I didn't get one sooner, I don't think I've ever decided to buy a car so fast before.

I must admit I'm not usually one for silver trim, but combine it with Sepang Blue and those dished forged 20" wheels and I can't think of a different combination I'd rather have... well, maybe a Nogaro Blue one.

Can looks lovely...how do the seats hold up in that colour? I was concerned that the bolsters would start to wear after a while.

It took me about 5 seconds of driving one to decide I wanted one. Ordered mine as soon as I got back to the dealer.

I think dark trim with the wheels dark to match would look better though.

Good colour scheme Bob! :D
You got any pictures directly from the side? Interested to see what rear privacy looks like on that colour spec as I'm currently mulling getting the rear glass tinted.

Yes, with the Sepang Blue, the silver trim goes well. I like the black optic pack combined with grey, so finally found myself one.

Absolutely love the wheels, I am in searching of the same 20'' for quite some time now to use them for winter tires.

By the way ordered mine today.. been in love with this piece for ages, all my friends will kill me now I guess :D
I plan to may be make it matte grey with a transparent matte protection vinyl, Ive seen it on other cars, looks stunning, and paint the wheels black, but not sure. First have to see it in person.. these will be long 10 days.
I have not even driven one or being in an RS6 ever before but I decided to buy anyway, just little worried about the suspension feel on DRC, our roads here are awful.
I am sure will be pleasantly surprised.

I’ve recently purchased the same colour, the matte paint protection, do you know how much that would cost?

Thanks
