Day to day driving you don't notice the 0.3 secs slower to 60. It's still an awesome all rounder.

I don't tend to keep a car longer than a year and this will defo do me until the next one.

I agree but when you’ve been spoilt like we have with the C5, C6 and C7 where there was no question in its straight line prowess and in the C7 we got a taste for what could be. The C8 is just such a let down.

In almost all tests it’s getting smashed. It never used to be this way!

I’ve owned them all and I also think the C8 is the best out of all of them. I still think it’s the best all rounder and I would still pick it today instead of a Porsche, BMW, Merc. These manufacturers have improved the figures everyone wants to hear about but have they got the complete package, I don’t think so. It’s not like the C8 has taken a nose dive compared to the past RS6 models

The only thing which the RS6 had over the AMGs and M5 in the past was its 4 wheel drive assurity in certain conditions. It can’t call on that card now and I bet the current AMG and M5 can still blitz it around a track.

We all knew it was going to lose that crown though - I am still amazed the f10 was not xdrive.

Why? C7 still is a masterpiece, and I think Audi failed with c8 cos it loses to Mercedes, Bmw and Porsche, the c7 in 2014 was a king among other brands

I’ve driven the E63s and the M5 Comp and I still went for the RS6. On looks alone I wouldn’t buy them. The M5 looks like any other 5 series and the Merc Estate looks like it’s was designed for people that have given up on life. It doesn’t worry me if the others are faster round the track. If I go round a track its usually in something a lot faster than any of these and I wouldn’t want to rag my own car. You’ve only got to listen to what Monkey Harris said about the RS6 to tell you it’s still the bollox of a car.

Agreed to a point. I’d wager he’d buy Panamera or E63 if it was his own money.

Panamera or Lusso for me in that category. Though worryingly I do quite like the Urus.
