Hi

The next lightness is on the underbody, the last rear cover.

Magnesium AZ31B is used here because this material is as light as carbon fiber.

I'm continually amazed at your obsession with reducing weight on your R8.
Did you try helium in the tyres to save a bit more?
On a more serious note, have you been keeping track f how much it's cost to get as far as you have?

Hi

The supplied metal sleeves in the picture on the bottom left are of course too weak for the required tightening torque, so beveled washers are a must.

Hi

Finally, the raw air supply via Sideblade is as I always imagined.

Uniform pipe cross-section from the grille of the sideblade so that there is a laminar flow of air.

In addition, over a kilo of weight are saved.

The carbon tube comes from England :bigwave:

How much weight have you saved in your bank account? Do you know how much it has cost you so far, Tom?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Hi

I don't want to know, it's very, very much of the feeling.

It is not possible to take it with me, I experienced that myself last August, so it doesn't matter, the main thing is fun.
