Does anyone want to swap a heated wheel for a flat bottom'd face-lift wheel?
The heat is nice but I miss the mode button to change modes.
Its in perfect condition so I would be looking for a perfect flat bottom swap.
Thanks
Sandy

Re: Heated Steering wheel swap
Hi Sandy,
I almost bought a PE with the round wheel with a view to changing it for a FBSW. I spoke to a couple of dealers and two independents and none of them could guarantee the Drive Select button would work when the FBSW was fitted.
Just a fyi.

Re: Heated Steering wheel swap
Drive select button (be it the stock multifunctional combined cluster swap, performance wheel or OEM aftermarket additional drive eslect button) will work on any facelift model....even without coding as the BMC already has the option precoded and ready to be used. If you want the additional drive select notifications on the instrument display, that depends bit on the firmware of the instrument cluster itself. Forgot the actual firmware number they added it, no biggy if that part doesn't work...in worst case you could let it be flashed and upgraded but sometimes tricky...but button function itself works (facelift only). SO if you only after the button, you could easly just swap the right button cluster with the one that has the drive select button (friend of me still has 1 laying around in case).
Re: Heated Steering wheel swap
I also found out today that the airbags are different so would be a full swap.
Thanks for everyone's input so far.
