Pretty sure the best setting on the PSS9 is 4, Shopp will be able to confirm.
Are you having the anti rollbars replaced? They make the car handle ALOT better! Depends how you want to drive it, they are a must in the C5 if you plan on driving it hard.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

I am going down the Ohlins TTX coilover route now as the handling/ride quality is better, as well as being cheaper.
Viper,

If it’s just a flexible hose & rigid pipes are sound, why not just replace it?
I did recently at unit 20 with DRC service, not expensive. ( about £300 I think)

Good luck

Ric

got more details ??

Just had the most dreadful ride home ever - a whole 900 miles. One of DRC Rubber pipes(Front Right) popped and all the oil left the system. first I saw a cloud of smoke I thought I killed another turbo. but it cleared in few seconds and straight away I felt how awful the ride became.
Was thinking of going KONI Shocks + Standard RS Springs way

Just in case someone's interested, I have here a full set of 4 DRC shocks, brand new oem in the box for cheap. Finally decided to go the Billstein route 'cause it's quite difficult to find someone to fit them properly where I leave.

Too late I know, but this is a great option, 2nd best only to DRC in my opinion. I've had the luxury of having driving many rs6's with different setups and most were awful.
My previous ride had koni yellows with stock springs and my current has a full functioning DRC. When the DRC fas I will be going to koni yellows again.

Glad you got yours sorted, a nice quiet smooth ride just helps enjoy the beast even more, congrats!

Thanks. Started on setting 4. Roads round here are crap. Reset to 6.
Will now set to 5.
Think I will be more than happy with that.

Just to Finnish off. Took car to local garage to have the wheel alignment done. Track rods seized could not move the locknuts. Went back to unit 20. New track rods installed and they set up the wheel alignment.
Nice drive home.

Yeah, that's the setup I have and I'm happy with it.

Well - Got the Billies in yesterday - WHAT A difference. You do feel every single crack and stone from the road but it's not a bothering feel. Car feels sooooo much stable and goes in corners so nicely. Should have done it the first time.

Nice one viper. I am so happy with mine after the awful H&R set up I inherited.
