RS models are back up in the configurator.
RS4 interior looks the same, as is performance.
Mpg # and co2 has risen (208gr instead of 199/200)
Price of some options has gone up (milled wheels are now 5k €!)
I saw the price of the milled wheels in NZ are now over 3x the original.
I'm told its because they can't make them fast enough, ordering them delayed my delivery by 8 weeks.
By the time it arrives (due in 3 weeks) I've been waiting 10 months.

There was a set of brand new milled alloys with tyres (albeit winters) for £2800 on eBay.de recently....
Buy those and get 19s for “free” with car.
As for UK configurator, my dealer suspects it may never be on sale again here in UK. But what do they know....

A4, but Inst. Panel is common through range, and so the iPad style Display stays unchanged - albeit a new 10.5” Touch Screen Display - better for Apple CarPlay Users

That's going to do wonders for the residual values of the previous generation models.

I'm in a new 19 plate A6 loaner (2.0 TDI, drives like a barge) with the latest touch screen interior - once the novelty wears off (30 mins, tops) it's just OK - the black gloss screens show every spec of dust and are fingerprint magnets. The displays need a determined stab with your finger to work. Voice command is now in plain spoken English - saying "I'm too hot" has the car ask what you'd like the temp set to and satnav accepts a full address after the command 'Drive to'. So the physical user interface is pretty average however the voice controlled bit is impressive.

Just watched a couple of YouTube reviews of the new A4 and S4. Audi do not talk about why the new S4 is diesel which I want Audi to explain as it seems like such a backwards step especially for a VW brand.
Also there are loads of new engine options which are hybrid which I think increases the chances the RS4 will be hybrid.

I doubt it an RS4 wiil be made on the facelift body.
Doors and wheelarches are different compared to the pre facelift (regular A4)
It wouldn’t make sense to revamp the RS4 body after such a short run.
Interior changes are no issue imo.

just watched a review ("Misha Charoudin"). He has Mark ? with him (head of Audi A series design) and Mark says "I'm not allowed to say anything but I think you can expect RS4".
The topic comes up because the S4 now has the Ur Quattro bodywork features that has previously been RS only.

Have to say after seeing the facelift I'm glad I didn't wait for it. They have made it look even more like a B8 A4
I know the new lights are all E Tron-ish - and that's clearly the way Audi design is heading, I'm just not a fan, looks busy/fussy.

Nope, not impressed either.
Not a fan of touch screens.
Front lights, meh.
I like the quattro arches though.
But a diesel S4... really?
