Crazy Prices John, good for those who own one,

An Audi SE said to me last week that used prices may & should drop quite a lot once the new cars are released for orders & they start coming through!!, that could be late Summer now.

Not sure how long they will be on the Audi site for as they will have to pull them for the 2020 Model year.

Hope you are still enjoying yours, I have purchased a Macan GTS in the Interim..& loving it.
Sold B9.5 RS4 !! WHY i keep asking ! looking sat ordering another before a new model arrives
RS4 2020 Navarra & Jet Blue Gen 1 R8
RS4 Sepang 2015
RS4 Suzuka 2014
RS4 Cab Daytona 07
RS4 Cab Phantom 58
RS4 Cab Phantom 06

Crazy, also too many to list in between, get board too quickly but hopefully not this time !!

On the RS4 price front - yes that's really noticeable, used prices have rocketed for 1 year old+ examples to nigh on £10k more than I paid 6 months ago.
Keep thinking about stepping out of mine whilst the prices are so good, but can't seem to find anything to swap it for especially with a sensible hat on.

Had a bit of an email exchange with my regular Audi dealership this morning.

“Audi are still not in a position to accept any orders for RS4. Ordering was meant to open in March but this has been pushed back until later in Qtr 2.”

Typically with Audi Model Year (MY) change over dates happen around Week 21 which is late Q2 - so if the RS4 is to reappear then it would be a MY20 model, going to be late September before a vehicle appears in a UK showroom assuming a 12 week lead time - though RS models have been known to take a lot longer in the past.

From other side of the world, local Dealer confirmed last week that RS4 orders have been accepted by AG for new Buyers, but there's no confirmation about when they can build / deliver:-(
Interestingly they are sending out RS5 Sportback deliveries. America is getting those also, right?
Surmising, might RS4 delays be because of 'Minor Change' Homologation activities (Headlights, Front end Module, Rear Light Combi, etc.), on top of / 'POST' WLTP maybe?
Current :Sonoma Green. Ext Black Pack, Carbon 'Ext/Eng Cover/Int trim', Sports Exhaust, RS Sports Int., Pana Sunroof, Matrix Lights, Park & Drive Assist pkg., Speed limiter removed, Titanium-Anthracite 20".

I’m told mine was build week 10, and it’s currently on the boat. Have been given an expected delivery date circa 16 May.
NZ dealers all have the RS5 Sportback in stock.

Ordered It last August and original delivery date was January, so I’m having a hard time believing anything the dealer says.....

Blimey, just checked the used values at Audi.co.uk !
Selfishly, I wonder what'd happen if they never did start making B9 RS4's for the UK market again

Crazy isn't it? Out of curiosity I asked a London dealer to quote me on a PX for mine - the offer was very close to the amount I paid for it 6 months ago with another 6,000 miles on it. Feels like there might be an opportunity to dodge the depreciation bullet?

Brand new front end, 12month old rear
I could see that as a good selling point :)

you can temper that thought with the possibility that there could be a facelift model with 500hp around the corner.
