BMW 540i

RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Mike,

You know you wanna remap.

I have spare fuel pumps for you too when they arrive from US (dont ask), exactly the same as what MRC supply i just tried to get cheaper and failed.

will be available anyhow
Did I hear there was a cheap fuel pump going? Image
I will have spare fuel pumps x 2 when they arrive, same as MRC and alike supply.

Genuine reason for sale:- I bought cheaper elsewhere, they now stuck in customs and they aint gonna be there for my stage 2 tune, had to get MRC to pull me out the <beep> and they have supplied :jump_clap: :jump_clap:

Cant say for sure when they are gonna be available but they are shipped and on way..days, weeks or poss a month.

First come first served. they are circa £400 retail each, you obviously require 2.

That the pumps anyhow https://autotech.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?S ... 0-127-101K
Still got spare uprated fuel pumps available if anyone needs them

Hello all, ok I'll get right to the point. Today was a perfect day for some traction and after trying the first DMS remap I found it too similar to stock, with the exception the RS6 would maintain the power for longer periods (BHP) but personally I wanted more up front responce so after a few tweaks we made it a little more aggressive and DMS really came though! Firstly, my expectations had been off, being my perceptions of the car would be to have more snap, more feed in power, more response, this is untrue and for this the RS6 feels like a factory RS6 in this regard still .

Now this is where things get ballistic . And I mean, ridiculously ballistic . When your power is expected to change up gear and maintain a level of that classic RS torque it doesn't, you are subject to an onslaught of new super power that will not let off, a serge of Tarmac destroying power that is hard to get in to words, third gear is a quick flash of seat pinning power to fourth it builds again like a rocket building momentum! Then to fifth where unless your the stig you have backed off as your now just wondering if you have burnt off your brake discs already, it's a joy to have, does the RS6 need this? For me yes I'm a petrol head at heart and that's that. I've put my trust in my chosen provider for my product, my advice to anyone doing the same is go with reputations, with provenance when selecting your provider. It won't be cheap but it will be right and you will be supported should you need it, there's a lot of tuners out there do your research and let's keep discussing here. I'd love to know others opinions .

Early stages for me, next stop will be the Akrapovic I think. For now I'm having a rest :beerchug:

Anth on 30/1
Maybe squeeze a few HP extra but unnoticeable, the bespoke tune will still have athe base map just adjusted slightly, it's not some specific map just for that individual car from scratch
Anth on 10/2
after a few tweaks we made it a little more aggressive and DMS really came though!
Really glad you are delighted with your map - and glad that the value of "tweaking" has been so clearly brought to your attention!! Enjoy :jump:

If I understand correctly Audi will lift to 175 with the dynamic pack and 189 with the Dynamic Pack Plus. I've not heard of them just lifting it without the appropriate equipment/features.
I have dynamic pack plus.....when are you really going to use the speed?

http://www.vmax200.com/results/ Id be sorely tempted to do it just to say you have. However being well outdone by a Nissan Qashqai hitting 237mph would piss on your bonfire a bit.

mapping kind of related question.... I'm about to have a full service done at Audi, (at a very good price), however i will be mapping the car in the next month, i'm thinking of supplying them the up rated NGK plugs. It seems little pointless getting them to fit OEM plugs then taking them straight out, I will of course save a little bit of money by not being charged for them by Audi.

Question is will the car behave and be happy to run on the NGK plugs in standard form? Could be a really stupid question, just makes sense to get this all sorted pre mapping.

It should run fine.

But why not just tell them you don't want the plugs changed (saving time and money) and get them done as part of the mapping/upgrade??

Guess it depends on then garage but I did exactly what you are planning . Audi fitted them for me about 2 months ago at request when it was in . Absolutely no diffrence at all running on stock, TBH the new sparks The RS6 use are the same spec as the NGKs so it's rather pointless, if you have the old part number it's worth upgrading for sure .

One Audi dealer I contacted wouldn't even fit my OEM side flaps in the bumper unless they supplied them.
