Hi all,
I am trying to find the Audi paint code and name to get the original finish on my 19" 5 segment spoke alloys. Or Peelers are they are sometimes referred to (same style as the C6 RS6 wheels). The fitment in this case is B8 S4, but I think the finish is the same as the C6 RS 6 wheel.
The information is surely out there, but I haven't found it yet.
The original wheel colour is a silver, but has real depth to it, producing an almost getting on for chrome like look.
Picture to show what I am talking about:
I know somewhere that can refurb these to the correct colour (Pristine), but I need the paint codes as I want to widen my options on where I get these refinished. I have a refurb company very close to home that does good work, but hasn't got the colour right (yet).

Thank you very much.Kenny147 wrote:Have a look at this....

Looks like it’s the common 1H7 paint code.
Independent site but seems about as authoritative as I will get. What a great resource that page is (bookmarked).

No Pristine are fine, just thought I would give a local firm a go to save the trips. The place I tried do nice work, have painted my wheels an Audi colour, just not quite the right one! Might even be the colour in theory, but perhaps needed a darker base coat or something.Ian_C wrote:You given up with Pristine now Graham after last time?
For the hassle now, probably should have stuck with Pristine.

I guess that's not an issue if you are having all four (or all eight!) done, but it is a problem if you just have the one done!
Just had mine done a non-Audi non-oem grey colour. Not an issue as I had eight done at the same time

Re: Paint code for 5 segment spoke alloys (peelers)
I am picky enough it would bother me even if I did all four. The wrong colour is the wrong colour. Some variation I can live with. I only gave them a shot as a chat with the owner confirmed they could do the original finish. Suspect he will wish he said he couldn't before we are done!
