Reasons (apart from the Beluga Whale guff) for not liking the Pan-Am appreciated darling x
I would also be worried about Porsche parts prices having heard a few horror stories. I don't know how much truth there is in them. Having said that, Audi parts aren't exactly a bargain either. You're going to have to stump up a grand and a half for a Porkcom, too.

I just wish they were more attractive. It looks like they made no effort to design a good looking 4 door car. The exact opposite is the Aston Martin Rapide which pulls off the 4 door conversion perfectly. IMO. They're a bargain at the moment, too, but they are RWD. I thought you'd be all over RWD - they are a lot of fun to drive.

The new Panamehs are very good looking indeed. Pricey, though.

Porkcom? Durametric is £300 or so, I bought one for diagnostics before darling thought better of that, so I sold it! Prices aren't bad I found compared to Audi for the majority of bits and the Pan-Am would be going straight on to Porsche extended warranty.

Sadly for me, it is looking more and more like we will be going RS6, with the prmise from bint that I get a Gen2 Pan-Am or similar in a couple of years.

Pan Turbo S hybrid is something else entirely, the audi cannot come close on feel, steering or performance out of the box. However it is Phucking massive. I parked at a supermarket, about 2/3 squeezes in the space.

Well, I hate my wife and most of you lot too ;). Since she is knocked up with my spawn, I let her have some input in to the choice of car. She was fine with me going with the Pan-Am, but she absolutely loves our RS6, it is her daily driver.

Based on pretty well that alone, I bought her this, on the basis that I get dibs on a Gen2 Pan-Am in a couple of years - https://www.jct9.com/audi-rs6-avant-tfs ... ey-6369370

Picking her up on Saturday in theory. What the hell am I going to do with two of them now?

I think the fat backside on the Pan-Am looks ten times better that the awfully squared off backend on the C7 (I think the designer had enough and just drew a straight line across the back to finish quickly), yet here we are.

Yeah, the rear of the C7 is pretty goping.

Was watching a "How it's made" on the panamera yesterday, decent machine.

Yep, the interior build quality craps all over the C7 imo and the rear looks like crap, luckily for me I won't be able to see it and I will most likely be driving the C5 more but vee shall see. As said, only a couple of years to wait hopefully until I can get what I actually want ;).

I think when that time comes, Brutus might finally have to go to a new home.

Had any thoughts on mods at this early stage?
