20 wheel and tyre size query

Post by Markp » Fri Oct 05, 2018 9:01 pm

Anyone running a 275/35 tyre as opposed to standard 273/30? Have a set of RS6 dished 20s for for my RS4 buy wary of running 30 profile on our crap roads around here and was going to keep RS6 spec tyres which are 35 profile. I know they will have bigger rolling diameter etc - more concerned if the car can handle a 16mm wheel arch loss without rubbing issues. Poke (sticking out further than original) is around +8mm too.

I was looking at these and new Winter wheels and tyres for the Rs4 are circa £3k new, whereas I found a few places that sell RS6 wheels with winter tyres for around £2k

The RS6 20 looks good on the B9 and is very light and tough (forged). I have decided to run with 30 profile to keep same rolling diameter. Offset is perfect too (no need for spacer and just fills the arch perfectly)
