Glad you picked a different colour from everyone else in this thread Graeme. But still looks great.
How you finding the auto in th B9 compared to the dual clutch in the B8?

The no colour option does seem quite popular. Looks fantastic with the black optics though. Enjoy.

Although it's slower shifting, as the meat of the torque is so low down compared to the B8, it doesn't have to go down three gears to make any decent progress, like you do in a B8 so it doesn't feel like an issue to be honest.
I think on those days where you're hammering it on a country lane in Manual mode, it's going to feel a bit slow, but it's still decent enough and as good as the AMG box but miles better than the one in the M3/4

Not me...

Congrats when do you get it?
Short answer, not sure yet. Due to...

1. It turned up without the 'comfort & sound' pack I specced, dealer has admitted the error...
2. Since ordering at the start of the year, last month ago my now-ex decided to execute a plan of snatching our young children from behind my back and moving them 3hrs away, so I'm having to go through the courts to get them back. The worst time in my life in all honesty, so the car has been the last thing on my mind. I was hoping the car would give me a bit of distraction, but the big error in the spec has left me undecided if I should take it or not and I've lost motivation.
What a nightmare. Forget the car it's not important and also not right. I hope you get it sorted.

Picked my car up this afternoon, but wasn't without issues (not the car I might add)
On the way down in my B8, the engine light came on about 10mins into the journey on the motorway and the catalyst <beep> itself everywhere.
Managed to get the car to the dealer, who could see it had only just happened by the ECU code, but then came the problem of having to get the warranty to cover it (circa £5k) before I could hand the car in. Eventually got it sorted, but meant it took 90mins or so with them on the phone to Audi UK to get it covered as once they've taken the car off me, the extended warranty is cancelled and they'd have had to stump up for it
Anyway, made up with the car so far, and although I've only driven it the 60miles or so home, I'm in love with it already
Congratulations Love the spec! Glad it all got sorted. This is exactly the reason I was battling with my dealer to get my car before the warranty ran out on mine B8 and as my delivery took so long I went without a car for week as I sold the day everything ran out. I've just hit 600 miles so will be able to start to put my foot down a little.

I am quite surprised the attention it gathers after all it's a grey estate.

Have fun.

About two months, but the dealer ‘found me’ an earlier build slot 👍
