Hi @classba

If you have the knowledge that the R8 V8 injectors make more throughput than the V10, then you take these.
If the high-pressure pumps of the V10 Gen1 are too weak, then you take the amplified version of the free market.

Tom
Tom, I think you will still struggle even with your say that the V8 injectors are larger/ flows more. The Gen-2 have double the amount of injectors compared to the Gen-1 and the most you can get out of them with an ECU map is around 650ps ( NOT BHP) maximum.

Anyway, best of luck again and hope you will hit your target. :beerchug:
Too much power is barely enough.

Hi @classba

The problem with the V10 is not the fuel supply, but the necessary fresh air in the cylinder for it !

A good basis is the 610HP intake manifold and 90 degrees rotated TB for good uniform distribution of air to all cylinders per cylinder bank.
The smaller exhaust valves of the narrower contoured 610 engine in conjunction with the 610HP camshafts complete the package.
But perfect cylinder head machining is a prerequisite for this.

So do not worry, that will work.
It was also said that no 500hp in the V8 engine are possible and, I've done it.

Hi

The R8 was indeed already finished for the start of the season in 2018 but not since yesterday.

Reason are larger exhaust flaps with larger cross section.

The built-in flaps in my exhaust system have an inner diameter of 51mm with a tube inner diameter of 59mm.
The new flaps have an inside diameter of 59mm and have no edges.
The exhaust gas can thus flow through unhindered and more engine power is generated.

Hi

Visually, something was missing on the front and I was not sure what that looks like.

But the decision was good to mount winglets.

So girls

As value preservation and the look because of, there was a mint R8 GT tailgate.
Positive side effect, the tailgate weighs 2.8Kg less than my modified series tailgate.
The weights in detail. Series 23,8Kg, GT 13,1 Kg, my modified 15,9Kg.

In addition, I could not resist and had to buy a set of carbon R8 GT mirror.
Less weight 0.53 kg compared to the facelift mirror.
