880ps manual
Re: 880ps manual
Mmm thats not the acceleration you'd exspect from 880 hp me thinks.
If you can't go to the track, bring the track to you.

Re: 880ps manual
Only running 1.2bar.
The 880 dyno run it apparently held 21psi. Is it just me or does that seem very low to achieve 880?!
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: 880ps manual
Still not impressed honostly, ive seen c6 ones with this power which are faster....

Re: 880ps manual
Yeah, I agree. My speedo dial swings around a lot more violently but it's in MPH.
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: 880ps manual
The needle travel is the same though.

Re: 880ps manual
Needle moves faster on a standard one!?maybe it’s geared wrong-and let’s face it we would all be running huge power if it wasn’t for the chocolate gearbox!!

Re: 880ps manual
Standard intake is interesting. We were always lead to believe this was restrictive.

Re: 880ps manual
The stock airbox is a huge restriction , it has far too many squeeze points . I'd love too know how they've pulled that power with a stock one . Maybe they had the lid off it or somthing.
I'm going see if I can get mine flowtested when I've finished my new one , a bit of a side by side comparison .

Re: 880ps manual
Me too.
I'm messing at the minute with a cylindrical Integra standard paper filter, to see it two will fit before I but another (£15)
Always wanted more noise, but never had a <beep> 'performance' filter. <beep> joke, them.
I took the Itg's that Mrc put in mine, when the guy before me had it mapped, and binned them.
Then it's the heatsoak issue.
Probably just end up boxing them in, so no noise gain at all. LOL.

Re: 880ps manual
Anyone considered making a new top half for the stock air box and cutting into the hood to draw fresh air from outside?
Maybe even use a naca duct with tubing etc?
When I do the big build on mine that’s what I’ll look at
