What spec are you looking at? I am still debating the new RS4 or the AMG 63S wagon. Merc are also about to release a face lifted version sometime early next year.

I am thinking the below. Not sure if the carbon edition is worth it, as it looks like its all aesthetic upgrades. This will be my first Audi, so not too sure if the RS Sports suspension was worth having, as saving £2k would be nice. Also any thoughts on getting HUD? as the Audi VC looks cool enough without further distraction of the HUD.

Audi RS4 £61,625.00
Glacier White £645.00
Alloys £2,000.00
RS Sports Suspension with DRC £2,000.00
Red Brake Calipers £400.00
RS Sports Exhaust £1,200.00
RS Matrix LED Headlights £850.00
Privacy Glass £450.00
Panoramic Glass Sunroof £1,250.00
Black Styling Pack £550.00
Folding and Dimming Door Mirrors £125.00
Electric Seats with Memory Funtion £200.00
Piano Black Inlays £200.00
Extended LED Interior Lighting Pack £100.00
Comfort & Sound Pack - B&O Sound / Advance Key / Rear View Cam £1,295.00
Audi Phone Box with wireless Charging £325.00
Head-up display £900.00

£74,115.00
Current: 2018 RS4 B9 Avant
Gone: 2013 RR Evoque Dynamic Lux - Petrol
Gone: 2008 Mazda RX8 40th Anniversary Edition

I don't think I'd bother with the carbon edition. Seems quite steep for a few bits of tacky carbon and nicer wheels.
My spec would be pretty basic,
Sports Exhaust
Privacy glass
heated/elec seats
20" wheels
Parking camera pack
Black Styling pack

Maybe Ceramic brakes - I have them on my B8 RS4 and they're superb, although they weren't as expensive an option on the B8

Seeing as all the paint options are priced, it'll be interesting to see what the standard colour is as I quite like the brochure car blue

Navara (spl) looks far better in the flesh than it does on the config. The B9 S4 looks lush in that colour - have a look on Audi approved used for real world pics

Ordering Nogaro / Sprint / Cornflower / Kingfisher would be fricking awesome - but obviously there's a cost and time constraint!

Navarra is a lovely colour. Personally I'm not sure it's very "RS" though...

B8 had ceramic front discs only but the B9 has ceramic rears too so the cost has increased.

my spec would be
Car £61625
Paint £2400
20" Alloys £2000
Suspension £2000
Steering £950
Sports Exhaust £1200
Tyre Psi Monitor £250
Matrix Headlights £850
Privacy Glass £450
Black Pack £550
Heated Seats front & rear £300
Carbon trim £950
Light Pack £100
Phone Box £325
5 year Warranty 905
£74855
might drop the paint but still have to pay 650 for paint as there seems to be no standard option at no cost and that the comfort pack as this seems to be the only way you get B&O sound at £1295
so that would be
£74400
i will be waiting until well into 2019 before i look at buying
2018 B9 RS4 Navarra Blue
2013 B8 RS4 Sepang Blue
2007 B7 RS4 Avant Sprint Blue
2001 B5 RS4 Nogaro Blue
1998 B5 S4 Avant Kingfisher Blue
1993 B4 S2 Avant laser Red

Just price the Carbon pack individuality against the pack price so £10000 above the standard car
in the pack
20” x 9.0J ‘5-arm peak’ design alloy wheels £2000
Red brake calipers £400
RS Sport exhaust system £1200
RS Matrix LED headlights £850
Privacy glass £450
Carbon engine cover £500
Carbon door mirrors £1200
Carbon Matt Aluminium Styling Pack £4450
Fine Nappa leather RS Super Sport seats, black with Crescendo red contrast honeycomb stitching ( no cost )
Carbon inlays £950
Extended LED Interior Lighting Pack multi-coloured £100
total £12100
so taking the Carbon pack saves you £2100
not worth the effort IMO a lot of bilng would have been better if they did the sports pack like the B8
can only hope they put that option in before i pull the trigger
2018 B9 RS4 Navarra Blue
2013 B8 RS4 Sepang Blue
2007 B7 RS4 Avant Sprint Blue
2001 B5 RS4 Nogaro Blue
1998 B5 S4 Avant Kingfisher Blue
1993 B4 S2 Avant laser Red

And you're forced to have carbon and silver not carbon and black on the carbon edition.
