Revo with Full Miltek exhaust

Post by JohnBlade » Tue Sep 06, 2005 4:17 pm

While sunning myself on the beach in the South of Spain I was wondering whether to go for the full exhaust system.Am currently on Revo & Miltek cat bac system.Has anybody tried this and had the power increase measured on a rolling road ? Off for a dip to cool down MY turbos.....

50 Hp increase just from this modification :?:
This seem to be a bit optimistic to say at least.
The 460Hp Sportec kit comes with a full exhaust system, two bigger Turbos, motronic and it "only" makes 460Hp.

John - still not done it yet????

I got just just over 80bhp and 95lb ft from stock to stage AMD III. That obviously includes the remap too, so don't know what they give in isolation... All I know is that there is a mighty difference. Feel free to drop in and have a go on some proper roads, then pop in to AMD next door!
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Mines running a full milltek and revo, ive never run the car without the milltek just remember it felt like a very good one compared to others i drove, the difference when using revo is fantastic bringing the car alive, but have to say i dont think it will be making 470bhp maybe 440-450 like bobjebb says there is a mighty difference, would like to what this spec makes for real on a dyno but dont wont to be that cruel to mine!

Cats will give about 10%, so even on a standard car, thats 38 more horses, add the rest of the system and you are talking about a 50 bhp gain, if running a stage one, 420 say, the maths speaks for itself. The standard cats and system strangle the car....................

Having read what I posted.... My mind must have been on other things. I'd like to adjust that figure to 40~50 bhp giving 460~470 overall.
