Hi Guys,
Just brought a RS4 cab for the mrs (Well so I can use the weekends really but shhh) 50,000. 57 plate.
Few questions I need some help/ advice with
Sat nav - Do they do a disk upgrade? What are the options
Phone kit - Options please?
De coking - Is it required? Where can it be done in the midlands? How much
What are the main things to look out for, be aware of etc.
Cheers Andy

Re: Hi Newbie here few questions
Welcome and FON Rule 1
Sat Nav, they do do later model Discs I think a 2010 disc should work in your current head unit, however quite a few have upgraded the head unit to either a later model or different unit all together
Phone kit, again depends on the head unit you have, does it have integrated Bluetooth, again a popular option is to upgrade the unit that has Bluetooth option.
De coking, the recommended place to have this done is MRC in Banbury. I haven't heard of any other places locally in the Midlands that can do it
Main areas to look out for are, oil cooler pipes, auxiliary radiators can corrode and leak, DRC can leak also as long as it's been serviced and looked after it should be ok, generally they are quite robust but it is an 8yr old car so expect some wear and tear
