Stopped by police and threatened with 'Furious Driving'

The plod told me they pulled me because they ran my registration, and my home address was a bit far from Bromley where I was stopped. I pointed out that was kind of the whole point of cars - I don't think he liked that.

Stopped for doing something furiously? It's only happened to me once, I was caught furiously tea-bagging a Dyson AirBlade, the lowest one on the wall in Liverpool St station. The copper said it was most disturbing as that one was the children's hand drier, I cannot believe he mentioned nothing of the fact that I was caught performing this particular act in the women's toilet.

The only time I use the word furious nowadays is when talking about Master Bates. I'd understand his anger if I was furiously pulling myself whilst driving.

My definition of Furious driving is when I've got my head back on the headrest.
Cruise control set at 30mph.
Hands at 10 to 2 on the steering wheel
Arms dead straight so my elbows don't bang the back of my Missus head while she is performing a FURIOUS act on me whilst I'm driving.

Now that's what I call furious driving. The cops have got it wrong!!!

I was once asked on another thread what was so precious in my car that Needed my front windows tinting. Now you all know why. Lol.

"Let this be a lesson....slow down". . In an RS4 that is quite difficult though.

Not many coppers are bad people. As stated above its usually how you interact with them which sets the scene. From some of the comments in this post I think many would fail the "personality test" and would be dealt with accordingly.

Same as when I got the section 59, I have indeed slowed down. It lasts for a while but eventually I slip into old habits again, but each time I am a little more cautious and sensible.

I've been pulled over for the same thing to. Pulled off quickly on a roundabout, didn't exceed the speed limit at all. Saw the blues in the mirror and pulled over. Said even though I'd driven safely and within the speed limits, I'd driven off from the roundabout furiously said I could have had 3 points for it

Did you not see the police car in your mirrors before you 'pulled off quickly' from the roundabout????

They are quite easy to spot, even the unmarked ones, if you use your mirrors correctly!

Lol, yes I had to check my lippy at the time. Then I angled it to check out the wife's cleavage. But then I did notice the unmarked 3 series but no way of telling from that distance whether it was a police car or not.
