Jeez you are a moany bunch.

Prestige didn't chose the car or the wheels, a customer has come in and bought the wheels and prestige are just showing us what these wheels look like on their customers car. Should they only bother showing you their customers cars that don't have air suspension from now on? I for one would like to see them regardless of ride height.
And its not just golf drivers that can afford to buy C7s, buy air suspension and aftermarket wheels as I've seen a few of them now and imagine there will be more to come.

It's what Sunday afternoons are for.

Well, that makes sense. However, as all of Prestige's threads show the same sort of car "look" I guess this means that people only fit their wheels if they also like the slammed look?
Should they only bother showing you their customers cars that don't have air suspension from now on? I for one would like to see them regardless of ride height.
As there is clearly a button on the car to raise the ride height, it would have been easy to show us what the wheels look like on a normal car.
And its not just golf drivers that can afford to buy C7s, buy air suspension and aftermarket wheels as I've seen a few of them now and imagine there will be more to come.
Not sure what this bit is about.
Anyway, the point is, if you want to sell something, it's best to appeal to your target market. Maybe Prestige are bang on the money by showing slammed cars, but it clearly isn't resonating with the the people on the forum this afternoon. Maybe a load of ex-slammed-Golf drivers will log on later?

The comment about the golf was in response to the comment that by the time people can afford to buy an RS6 and a set of wheels they won't be after the Southend sea front slammed golf look or something to that effect.

Valid point about maybe setting it at a higher setting for the photos but you can't please everybody. Generally aired cars seem to be quite popular on this forum, I'm pretty sure Scott black C7 on air has been referred to as one of the best around a few times on here so if I was Prestige I'd have probably gone for the fully slammed option too.

And from the photos they post of their RSs most seemed to be lowered so guess their potential market likes the lowered look, although today's crowd seem to disagree.

But (and here I may be very wide of the mark) I suspect that, by the time your target customer has earned enough money in life to buy an RS6 and then enough more to buy some fancy wheels (whilst putting the already expensive factory items to one side), they have rather moved beyond lusting after a Southend-seafront slammed Golf.

I have seen quite a few RS6s since I bought mine, including some great paint colours that are far more adventurous than my black car, which indicates that some owners are not shy about making their cars stand out from the crowd; but I have yet to see one that looks like an elephant sat on it recently, which rather leads me to suspect that you might get a more favourable reaction to your marketing efforts if you stuck your wheels on a more normal-looking car.

I, for one, might be more tempted to buy your wheels if I could envisage myself driving the car in the pic. As it turns out, nobody can drive this one as it is unfeasibly low.

Just a thought.
Accuair adjustable air suspension inst for everyone and we are well aware of that, in fact I only know of 3 RS6 C7 cars fitted with this however as mentioned this is totally adjustable by a control unit mounted in the car. You can programme this to sit at various levels and change between them at the touch of a button and it so happened we took pics of this on the low setting...just different I guess, but ultimately its good to show different cars with wheels mounted rather than just images of wheels.

Actually we just like sharing the work we do and yes we sell wheels but its more than just business....we actually enjoy enhancing / customising cars.

Maybe check out some of the other cars we have done with ride heights you prefer :bigblink:

So there's no practical merit to slamming the car into the ground other than to be different. I'm happy to be a sheep.

It's obvious if your running air suspension when you park it up you drop it on the floor, shows the arches off nicely. It's quite clear you couldn't drive it at that height, from what I've been told that system drives as good or better than the standard suspension. Having seen the black one in the flesh at boxhill, it looked amazing!!

Hmmm, a suspension mod that remains driveable, what a novelty.

No they didn't. I didnt miss it, that was a different car with different wheels. They didn't ask for thoughts on this car with these wheels. Pretty sure I've asked for opinions in other threads too but it doesn't mean I want them on any thread .
In my opinion its because they were a unusual wheel that maybe they haven't tested here before. They know this is a good looking wheel, pretty sure they've fitted loads of them before (can't be bothered to look through previous threads though, im watching x factor).
Or perhaps they just forgot to ask. But either way they didn't ask for opinions. However, this is a forum and you're entitled to your opinions and I'd never say you're not and neither would I post anything if I didn't want to hear opinions, whether good or bad, I was just correcting you when you said they asked for opinions when they clearly didn't.

It really is personal choice with regards to ride height. The slammed look IMO. Is for 10yrs and under !!! That is only IMO though !!!! (Smile).
