Going to order a new C7

Post by b7rs4saloon » Wed Mar 25, 2015 12:16 pm

Going to pull the trigger and order a MY15 car, I don't mind the wait.

Can anybody give me an indication of the level of discount they have received?

I specced up and list is about £83k

Thanks

Online broker prices are around 13-15% off including the 6k contribution so aim for that, I will be if I finally decide to order.

is it noth worth using a reverse bid website? like carwow you can spec the car then dealers send quotes i did this with a SQ5 and got 2 quotes back never followed up on them tho
RS4 B7 Saloon Milltek Cat back, CAF with piper cross panel, Wrapped optics black, Satin black wheels, TRUPS LED front DRL's & sides, goodridge braided hoses, H&R 10/15mm spares front/rear

MRC stage 2 deflapped, precat gutted 439ps 481nm torque
1/4 mile time 12.884sec

My first port of call is to get some quotes from Carwow.com.

Is gives you some negotiation if you want to use someone local to you :beerchug:
2018 RS5 Nardo Grey with the good toys - Gone
2019 Mercedes E63s AMG - Broke down 3 times - got rid
2019 RS3 4 door - Gone
2020 RS6 Launch Edition - The right spec unlike factory orders - gone
2021 RSQ3 Sportback - Nardo Grey - gone
2022 RS Etron GT Carbon Vorsprung - Daytona Grey - gone

.....however, seems like most dealers are coming back with 9.1% discount.

Try using broadspeed.com. Really easy to deal with and you can phone and speak instead of doing it all online
Similar process to Carwow, but the discount is listed and then fixed
The discount is currently £10,483 off the list without spec based on buying with PCP (so around 13.5%)
They only have a handful of Audi centres they deal with, but they're pretty broadly spaced between the North, Midlands and the South, so not a million miles away
You could always take the broad speed or Carwow quote to your local dealer and see if they'll match it

Gone - 01/14 B8 RS5 Coupe - Short term car
Gone - 09/14 B8 RS4 Avant - Misano Red/Ceramics (Daily drive & kids taxi)

Current - 04/18 B9 Rs4 Nardo Grey
ZX10R Race bike - 210bhp and a few skid marks on the seat ;)

I'm hopefully ordering in the next few months too. I'm talking with Broadspeed too, they advise Audi's Financial quarter ends next Tues (1st April) and the offer might change. My view is it might change for the better too so I'll hang on a week.

One question: it seems on the Configurator I can't get a full black grille on the Panther Black with Carbon Pack? It's showing a top black grille with Matt aluminium blades and QUATTRO surround? Is this accurate? It won't allow a black optics with Panther... so it seems I can't get an all-black car?

You cannot order a full black car in the UK, there's been quite a few threads on it already.

The pricing structure has just changed for the worse 10 days or so ago (they dropped their GFV's down) - I can't see a fresh new quarter offering change, normally it's the other way around (trying to top up their sales before end of quarter, not at start of new) A new car takes a good 4-6 months to get a car from initial order.

Can't tell if that's Carbon though? or could be EU car...?

I thought all black was my ideal but after seeing a daytona car with black/carbon I'm fairly certain that's the one for me.

I'm also unsure whether to order before 1st April or wait until after. The current deals are valid until 31st March, will be mega annoyed if they contribution is withdrawn.

I don't understand it. The description on the Configurator seems to say it's all carbon (black) as it was pre-FL but the image it shows has aluminium? As you say, that pic above is a FL and all black so it can be specced?

Oh, it's simply that the image on the configurator shows the carbon pack as a light colour.

It also shows the black and titanium wheels looking virtually identical. So as long as the carbon box is ticked, you'll get carbon
