Out of an S5 and into an S4

Post by Haywoon » Sun Mar 08, 2015 11:19 am

Have had my B8 S4 Avant for a few days now so thought I'd say hello and post up a few pics.

I've had a few Audis in my time including an S3, S4 cab and most recently, a couple of S5's. I've always liked the S4 Avant and when one came up for sale that I liked I took the plunge!

2011 B8 Avant, Nimbus grey and exclusive crimson valcona interior, S-tronic, carbon inlays. Panoramic roof, super sports seats, nav, bluetooth, memory seats, folding mirrors, adaptive headlights, cruise, AMI, power tailgate, advanced parking with camera, B&O sounds, DAB radio and black optics pack and 19" rotors. Audi approved car too.

I do plan to change over the exhaust for either a Milltek or a Scorpion and possibly in a few months I may consider a stage 1 map too. So far I have been extremely impressed with the car - big smile on my face every time I drive it.

Cheers - I've never known a paint finish look so different depending on the lighting conditions! Love it though.

On remap, what ive heard/read is that although stage 1 is good, its stage 2 that really brings the grins and isnt that much different (smaller pulley basically)

And on maps, the general consensus is MRC. Never heard a bad word on them, yet i have the others,...

Saw that car at Derby Audi - very interesting interior and exterior colour combo - looks stunning imo. Would be stealthy as hell if you lost the mirrors [for bodycolour] and the side badges.

Was for sale for a while - hope you bargained hard considering the price / mileage.

If you are planning on a Milltek, you probably know Milltek Sport are based about 25 yards from Audi in Pride Park

It was from derby Audi - Christ it was an emotional experience - as with most main dealers they want it all their own way. The guy who I dealt with came good though despite a few hitches along the way!

Wow, what a fantastic S4! :rocker:

Never seen one in Nimbus before, and boy what a spec list. It looks absolutely stunning in that colour, especially against the black optics.

Welcome, and enjoy!
