Must admit jag have switched it on. Quite good as Audi don't seem to be at the moment, except the RS 6. Could tempt me away.

The fact there are so many on the road spoils their ‘premium’ appeal a little IMO, like when you like a song, and grow tired of it because you keep hearing it over and over again, so far this year, Audi have outsold most ‘mainstream’ manufactures - Peugeot, Renault, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Honda and everyone else bar Ford, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. Jaguar could definitely tempt me away, too, not convinced with the XFR that my friend regularly has from work, build quality still not there in that car yet, but it seems to handle/go/sound well, I’ve been in a few of the new Range Rovers on longish journeys now, and they are built exceptionally well, interior at Audi standards now IMO.

good man !!

yes, I think V6S is where its at

I've spec'd up all of them, and the V6 and V6S actually come out very close to each other as when you pick V6S, a lot of the options are randomly cheaper (i.e. the 20" Rotor style wheels are £3.5k on the V6 and £2.5k on the S

I nearly bought the convertible in the spring and would have definitely gone for Salsa Red, I can't make my mind up about colour on the coupe.I'll be keeping the spec quite light to keep the cost down, but as it's already got Sat Nav/ DAB, adaptive suspension and Xenon's there's no need to add loads to it.I might go with white and pano roof, noisy button for the exhaust, configurable dynamics.

V6?! Cough...

v8 or bust. But that thing is not cheap and I suspect it will depreciate like a meteor.
