Apologies for the usual query on DRC but wondered if someone could explain the elements of DRC as I'm now heading for a padded cell.
Symptom: clunky rattle seemingly from the rear when the car is cold going over small bumps/ripples in the road. After warming up, nothing.
Car has been back to Audi for a heavier clonking on the front and they replaced the front o/s DRC - this has resolved that one. I've been able to have a look at all remaining shocks and I can't see any visible leaks. So does this mean it's me/something else/or what does the gas pressure that I read about mean?
Got the name of a knowledgable guy at Cemberley Audi so might just try that.
Must get some pictues or the car up soon.

Re: Paranoia setting in..
It's not unknown for the system not to be pressurised correctly - too low a pressure could result in some clonking.
