Yes, I agree, it is the driving position what makes the 320D comfortable. The seats don't look special, but if you are declined rearward, half-lying I would say, the pressure on your neck and spine is much lower as if you are sitting upright. Mine was a coupe and I hink the front seats were declined rearward even more than in the 'loon.Amar wrote:The 320D was much more comfortable, the driving position and seats were perfect

Have you ever driven or been to Scotland? The roads are fantastic, traffic is lighter and to be honest, people are a lot nicer up there (suprised me too)Amar wrote:Why Scotland? Out of all the places in the world, Scotland? I'd go somewhere where the sky wasn't all gloomy and grey all the time.

Yeah mine was a coupe too M Sport. I've had two of them now, a BMW Individual estriol blue and black.
Dunc - I've been to Glasgow when very young, have heard good things about the roads but I'm sure I could find somewhere with good roads, and weather.

You will find somewhere with good roads and weather, just not this close. Try and take a trip up there this year. Doesn't matter if it is dry, wet or even covered in snow the roads are epic.Amar wrote:Yeah mine was a coupe too M Sport. I've had two of them now, a BMW Individual estriol blue and black.

Starting to find the seats unsupportive on these longer drives.
After today's marathon of unpacking, de-lousing the RS6 with essentially a full valet including clay bar / wax glaze, washing Mrs. Drybeer's Q3, strimming and mowing both lawns and then taking all 6 large bags full of grass to the tip I suspect it's my back's advancing years which are to blame… not the C5's seats!
