Interesting boost gauge (amoungst other things)

Post by AAH! » Wed Jul 07, 2004 8:56 pm

Has anyone had any experiences of this?

Looks like it could be a neat solution to the "where to put the boost gauge" dilema.

"The EFU (Enhanced Driver Information Unit) is developed by TwinData in Germany.  It allows you to read data right on your trip computer.  The starter kit allows you to read critical information such as oil temperature, turbo boost, voltage and speed.  There are max / min peak hold and audible alarm function for each sensor.  In addition, there are optional accessories like data gathering cable, G-Force meter and air-intake sensor to further enhance your driving experience."

I don't think this will work on a RS2.

some of us have been waiting for over two years for something that will work with the latest generation Audis. Sorting out the CANBUS is too tough for this vendor

Having reread the spec on the techreaction website, I agre that this probably won't work on a RS2. I have e-mailed techreaction and asked them to confirm this.

I believe someone on the S2forum is working on a project for an electronic boost gauge
