After 8 weeks of BMW 1M ownership which included finding out that i was going to be a dad again, ive replaced it with a 2012 S4 Avant

Got to admit that its my favourite Audi so far, like a grown up RS3 with better build quality and comfier seats.. The Super sports are superb..

im over the moon with it, and cant wait to get some miles under its belt.

Very nice, I've got 1500 miles on mine now and she's loosening up nicely. Love the colour and wheels, looks like the one Wearside Audi had in when I collected mine. Enjoy and I'll be interested to hear your feedback compared to the 1M which is another great little car.

Welcome to the B8 S4 ownership section, truly terrific car. How does it compare to the BMW performance wise? Also did you factory order it or find one not allocated like me?

Previous to the 1m I had a TTRS.. In comparison the 1M needed to be wound up to get the best out of it..

I had it remapped by evolve, add the n55 midpipes and a Pedalbox www.pedalbox.co.uk and it was insane.

Never used it in the wet, as even in the dry it was entertaining, I'd say it is very rebellious and incredible fun.

I spoke to the trader I sold it to the other day, and even he agreed with me that the TTRS has the edge engine wise, but for looks, stares and attention the 1M wins hand down.

In comparison, I can use the s4 in the rain, take it to tesco and use it for. The family and all of their stuff, so for me it's the best of the bunch, that's until Audi offer the BiTurbo in the A4

If they put the biturbo tdi into the A4 I think in real world circumstances it may beat the S4. Also it sounds really good for a diesel.

The s4 is going tomorrow and I'd being replaced by this..

If anyone is interested I do have a set of H and R spacers, been n the car 4 days and 100 miles, and a set of un used h and r lowering springs
