RS4 Whore,now supercharged

Post by Jules » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:48 am

Well here it is,it was all down to the wire and the wheels only turned up at the show,i had specially made,i took a risk but it paid off.
I am so pleased with the end result,i am totally skint as dont have some of the money the big boys do,so used alot of friends who do mates rates and really looked out for bargains.
I also really tried to concentrate on the little attention to detail,as the competition with the players boys and Luke at plush is amazing and i know
it was so close and im sure they will be getting me back at other shows lol.

This time i was very lucky and came away with 1st place,i was a bit overwhelmed to be honest.
Anyway here is some pics

Speechless.

1st place deserved, even without seeing the competition.

Details. Tell us about the interior cream/silver colour. How is the centre console and undersides of the dash done (the glovebox door etc), is that leather?
Wheels, who they from?

Top work Jules,

The engine bay carbon, is that real overlay, vinyl or hydrographics? The colour and weave appeaar to be a great match on all parts.

The interior is a one off colour,it has only been used once about 8 years ago in a mk2 golf, its whitish with a hint of blue, that is only picked up in certain
lights, all the dash, console seat backs are all leather with the blue sticthing carrying through.
Even the mats are edged in the same leather.
As for the wheels, its a firm in Derby,we are going to work together and sell wheels in very ltd numbers,or a complete design people can do themselves.
Mine are 20 x 10,we just need to tweek the centre on the front by 3mm to be perfect and they are 3 piece.
They hope to be about 2.5k a set

Jules I even had those sneaky photos you sent me before tour unveil but I am still left in awe. Wheels look fantastic as does the rest.

Congratulations definitely well deserved!

Thanks, all the carbon work is real carbon skinned,we have even done the water tray, which looks great but,it was a nightmare to get
it to finally fit,we even had to strengthen the back to allow for the skinning.
I will admit though the right hand engine cover tried to start lifting with the heat,so i will only fit for shows

Cheers Daz,these were a mission but i felt required to go next level,i had a couple of quotes for a grand,so just a bit to much,i finally
convinced my mate to have a go for a bit less.
You have to completely strip the seat to bits which i knew would put others off and we went ahead,he did them and kept to his price
but now hates me ha ha he said he would never do again unless for a grand as it took him 2 weeks to do them
