Just bought Avant, now they are at sensible money....impressive piece of kit, much improved on C5

Welcome to the fold Robbo.

I have to say, I am enjoying mine more and more. I don't drive it much during the week and can't wait for the weekends.

Hi Robbo.
A quick click of your profile reveals you commented on my thread from last year:

Interesting that we both ended up buying them.
So what's your spec?

£25000 drop from list, 5500 miles in 11 months with everything on it apart Advanced Key.
Ironically paid the same money for this as new C5 in 2002....right money IMO

Awesome sf the only word that best describes the C6. And great value too at circa £55k+, so much better than the C5 as you say. Better looking too, in my view, than the E60 M5 Touring...

Picked up from Sheffield Audi, excellent dealership. Even fitted 2 new tyres where needn't have, after deal completed.

Classy, subtle car ( little too subtle IMO), but like it.

Only issue I have is the usual Ipod nano recognition via ami.....

I picked up mine from the same dealership last Saturday. One of the nicest dealers I've ever dealt with. And I did like the handover 'experience' the car coming up into the room on the lift was a little gimicky but a really nice touch!!

Dealt with Scott, very nice chap. I bought the silver Avant last Thursday.
Put 2 new tyres on aswell, after the deal had been done. Just sorted the Iopd also. Did you buy the saloon ?

I did yes, was looking initially for the Avant but the saloon has a tardis like boot so went for that instead.
I dealt with Robert, quite a nice chap.

Liking the car more than I thought I would, apart from the fuel, though to be expected. Love the subtlety and the apparent 'coolness' it evokes. The Breitling and puma slip on brigade won't get it...adds to the appeal.
Guy in the Gym, has both the above attributes with the additional charming habit of shaving his head in the shower.....he has a black R8. Says it all.
