Just ordered one to replace my Focus RS Mk2. I can thank the newly acquired greyhound for that! Looking forward to spring now!

Hey Pete. Good to meet you.

I did not go for the Dynamic Steering but did select the dampers, ADS and LSD. What set up did you go for?

Hi S, good to meet you too (give us your first name, we're all friendly on here, honest :) )

Looking through your spec mine's pretty much exactly the same bar Hill Hold & Black Grill Pack (is that Black Optics a la RS4?), and the MMI on mine isn't Plus as that came out on the 59 plate (includes full postcode & house number search), though I've got the full ADS and mine's a saloon.

How did you arrive at the S4 mate, and did you test drive one in the decision process? It's a world away from a Focus (you mention the dog but even so...)

Hi Pete. Simon here.

I change my cars quite regularly (eg FRS, 997C2S, Lotus Exige S in the last 24 months alone - all second cars), but a change of lifestyle and also the dog's arrival prompted me to look for a combined family and performance car which I shall keep for a couple of years. Thought about an RS6 (too much money), an RS4 (but 2 years old), so plumped for the S4 Avant - only driven one briefly (just arrived at the dealer).

The Black Grill Pack is in the current brochure, but not the Audi website configurator. Probably the same as the RS4, but not sure if that involved the light lenses also. It is only the grill etc on the S4.

Cheers,

Simon

Great looking car worsy. No build date as yet, but the dealer (who is a friend) is quite optimistic about March.

I have yet to see a picture of a car with the black pack grill. Anyone? I am expecting it to be like the front of my FRS, which I just love.

Cheers for now,

S

That looks sweet, is sepang blue much different to Sprint blue in real life?

Simon there is a sprint blue avant with the black optics pack on the Audi used cars site.

If i am confirmed week 2 do you think i should get it before the 1st March?

Great spot Phil. I like that, and on a quartz grey car it should look excellent.

I am not particularly up on the build weeks, so can't help with timing. Let's both hope for early March then.

Simon
