Group 19 eeeeek!

The R32 is only 18....
Yes it will be a long 1000miles but it worth it at the end of the day, i run my 206 perfectly and it paid off in the long term.....

After the first steady 1000miles im going to gradually build up the power until i can unleash the howl of that V6... woooohoooo

hi everyone,

im the guy who started the thread on the fiat forum.
Nice to see people being fair and not the 'my car is faster than yours' attitude. All us Coupe owners know that the S4 is quicker than a standard 20VT coupe, nobody is denying that. The coupe can easily be modded to 270bhp which is what mine currently runs, hence me surviving the battle with the S4 avant.

always like these audi's, top cars!

rog

ps. you got enough smileys on here to choose from?

hi Audi people - Phil beat me over hear but I am also from the Fiat Coupe forum and, like him, have a great admiration for a lot of your cars on this site. IMO the S3 is a quick hatchback with advantages over the coupe in build quality, reliability (but the coop isn't as bad as you think) and general newness (modern technology) but the coop has Italian flair and spirit and it will suprise you if you ever get to drive one (esp 2nd gear). I think the Coupe is far more of an individual car and far better looking and yes it is quirky - but we all love it!! These are just my opinions - no offence to S3 owners.
That quote on the RS4 being "trouser-tearing fast" is mine and yes I would like to have one someday!
oooo these are nice - can we have these on our Forum???

Hello Rog

Yes we lot love our Audi`s.... and eventhough im moving on and becoming a "Dubster" i still have a passion for Audi`s.... prefer the RS cars more.

The Audi S3/TT engines are only 1.8 litre if i recall correctly and the Fiat Coupe`s 2.0 litre so i would imagine from a performace aspect when tuned they do have a slight advantage.

I would imagine the 2 litre Fiat engine could touch near 280-300bhp where as the Audi engine would go no more than 275-285bhp without turbo upgrades.

All good fun

Yes the italian cars do have a sense of individuality.... something i want in a german car and since i cant afford a RS car yet ive gone for a 5 door R32....... 1 of 400 in the UK.

Yes the smilies here are very nice... but using too many at once isnt a good idea

riz,

there are a few 300bhp coupes and also a 340bhp one. the problem we have ofcourse is the FWD which tend to get rather slippery with higher power. the main advantage we have is the large torque that is produced, and our in gear times at 100mph+ are quite abit quicker than our jap opposition. I love audis and have always fancied an S3, excellent all round car and can be modded to a good level.

All in all if i ran into and audi, be it an S3, S4 or the RS's id still have to have ago, who cares if i lose, its all part and parcel of the game. its all good fun and its good to see a nice level of respect from other car owners

ps. Whats with the pissing monkey?

Question for our Fiat visitors - I've seen a few Coops with brembos but always assumed they were aftermarket. Are they in fact standard? If so, I'd say that's a fairly good bragging point, as much as power / torque etc, non?
You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive.

RS4 - as standard as the day it was born

yeah and the rest surely... probably double that just import?

good to see the Fiat lads on here - you're much better behaved than some of our 'Audi loving' cousins from other forums..

Yup the S3 is nice... will be sad to see it go and its all part of the fun.. ive attempted to race 3x new M3`s and on two occasions i would say i won... .... mainly because i think the drivers got scared alittle when their M3 back end wiggled alittle.....

At the end of the day it doesnt matter what car you have aslong as you keep a level head and know when its getting dangerous to do high speeds and back off

Its a bad time of year to sell my S3 so im hoping it finds anew owner early next year

Riz
