I've been looking round for an RS4 and some of the figures at the top of this thread were putting me off !

My quote from Direct Line is £ 915 with 4y NCB, which seems about right then ?

I was thinking yours was pretty cheap, consdering the mods ?

Can you get me the customer services number for Norwich Union please ? I will swap to them to get trackday cover at that price, I was quoted £ 194 for 12k of cover with a 2k excess for Castle Coombe.

I use Norwich Union for track day cover too, £65 with the same cover but £2k excess

My view is I can find £2000, but probably struggle with £50k [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

I pay around £900 through Direct Line. Suprised the hell out of me as I had only called them to get the number for Priveledge. But they quoted for me. £600 excess though and they wont budge on that.

Been quoted £997 (and £150 excess I think). Tesco Ins.

Quite reasonable considering I paying more £200 on modded V6 4motion.

My insurance is with direct line also £860 with no more than 8000 mile per year can't remember my exess but egg insurance were £100 cheaper and that's with 3 points aswell also elephant .co.uk is cheaper still but i'm in the sticks in sunny Scotland and beening oil feild trash the limited miles is not a problem

You oldies all have it easy! I'm only just up to 5 years no claims, and the cheapest I could find for my RS4 was £2400!!! That's with a £250 excess. I get ripped off because of where I live apparently, and I've got various track driving liscence bits added onto my liscence, which I thought would bring the premium down. No. It goes up because now they think I'm a smartass. Never had a claim in all my driving life, and I've been insured with the same company for almost the whole time (they've always been cheapest). They still charge me £800 for my Mini Cooper S! It's an old one as well, so only 91hp! Still, it does go a bit [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
