70k Service

Hi All

About to have a 70k Service on my S4 Avant. Anyone know whats covered in this particular service and what sort of cost to expect?

i know the 80k service is a big one, i think they change the cam belt and stuff which isnt a cheap 'cover off and slap it in job' i've been told!! so i dont reckon the 70k service should be to bad.. but dont hold me to that!! 70k should just be an oil change etc. £200-250?

Give your friendly dealer a call - I'm sure thay'd be happy to give you the rate card for this service.

The point is that there is no 70K service. There are oil change services, interim services, and then things to check/change at 20K, 40K and 80K intervals. So if the 20K and 40K work was done at around 20K, 40K and 60K then you only need an interim service (oil change and inspect a few things - which you can do yourself and save a few £££).

N.B. If your car is modded you'd be wise to get the 80K bits done early.
