Top Gear did a test on the Gatso with a succession of speeds and cars, ending with the Mucielago. IIRC it was doing 178mph which proved too fast for the two pics the Gatso takes, by the time the second pic was snapped it was off the grid and out of the photo!! I believe that prior to that they went through in a Cerberra Speed 12 at 174mph and were still in both pictures...not something I'd advise trying!!

i thought it was a leasing or rental company he worked for, in any case, looking at the video Grizz posted of the street race he probably got less than he deserved

It's only theft if you permanently deprive, or intend to. Before that, it's merely "taking without consent", hence the acronym "TWOC", as in, twoc'ing cars - stealing them, then leaving them somewhere afte rjoyriding around a bit.

Oh that's OK then, I'll refrain from kicking the sh*t out of anyone who TWOCs my car.

The neat part about TWOC is that, by definition, it's still around, albeit a litlte damaged. Which means that there's fingerprints on it. They might not identify uniquely yet, but the next time. Or the time after... "oh look, not only have you been caught red handed in this crime, your fingerprints match a few other cars. This is your cell mate, Bubba"

Yeah - if only that were the case .... unfortunately (more often than not) the reality is that the revolting little maggots get pampered to and fawned at by some tampon-eating 1-legged lesbian social worker then given a 1/2 hour community service order (which they don't attend) and/or an ASBO (which is then touted as a medal of honour amongst their "bruvs" and "massive") .... little Burberry bastards.

Well said S4tan! :jump_clap:

Either that or they get let off on some stupid technicality. Break their kneecaps, that would stop them TWOCing. Or how's about branding them THIEF on their forheads (low down so the cap won't cover it).

Unfortunately "Thieving Bastard" is too long...

Isn't their name and address made public as part of the court records, one they've found guilty there?
