Short shift Tanoga £300

I wonder if there is an RS246 discount

£300 for a shifter. Where?
RS246 discount. I am open to suggestions?

Thanks Karl. I spent an hour in the car yesterday afternoon programming my favorite radio stations etc., and spotted it then. I figure I'll try it some more before disabling it.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you sell the RS6? IIRC you bought 2 anyway didn't you?

Hi Dippy,
You're right I did buy 2. I sold one before taking delivery and made a "few" quid and the second one was for me.
However, having £60K tied up in a car that may or may not lose thousands of pounds over the coming months gave me sleepless nights (and my wife wasn't too impressed either ). Unfortunately, I don't have the kind of disposable income that some of the guys on here obviously have so it had to go. Having said that, I loved it . I think it is a brilliant car and an unrivalled alrounder.
My intention is to order another one very soon, then when it gets near to a delivery date, check out the re-sale values on used examples and if they are holding up well, then I'll take delivery. On the other hand, if they are suffering from high depreciation, then I'll buy a used example.
Cheers
Paul

Is my car the only one with auto dimming wing mirrors as well? I find it annoying cos you cant see if the cars behind have any lights on thier roof

Dippy,
I'll swap you for my mirrors if you want, they are in body matched black, and aren't auto dipping.

I've only just twigged that I have no chrome on my car at all apart from the front grill surround..and that goes for the interior as well. Even the interior door handles are black anodised. Looks cool though.

I don't think you can order cars in the UK with that option.

black interior handles was the std RS4 build, no matter if you ordered black roof rails and trim

So i believe that is

Shows how much I know
I bought the second one I looked at and I didn't notice those little details on the first one. All the other Audi's I've owned have had chrome interior door handles, including the RS6.
I've only had it since Friday, and already I'm pretty convinced that I'm going to enjoy it more than the '6. I loved the '6 but it was a big car and didn't really encourage you to throw it about. It could be keeping the '4 for longer than I was expecting
Cheers
