The wife's insurance

Post by bobjebb » Fri May 26, 2006 3:52 pm

Any suggestions on where to look over and above the usual suspects for my wife's Lexus RX300?

700 quid living in the sticks seems a lot. Alhough the 6 points don't help.

Thanks

I can only think of the usual suspects. Have you tried the ads at the back of Top Gear mag or similar? I know of several women who use Diamond car insurance.

Thanks all, and thanks for the offer Jon. She has seemingly gone with the first one she phoned and probably most the expensive. All before I had a chance to stop her. Jeez, women don't tend to like shopping around, do they?

They would if it was clothes or shoes!

I found that Diamond was unbelievably cheap for my Missus. However they do have high compulsory XS.

Diamond was unbelievably cheap
And sometimes that's because the policy only lasts 10 months!!

Elephant too Paul. It's called a 10 month accelerator. They claim it allows you to build up "no claims" years more quickly. Hmmmm
