Was going to pop into town but the weather put us off.
Glad we didn't as it looked soaking.
Had a big street party in our town centre.
Paul McCartney & Rolf...... is this the best we've got ??
(and Macca is doing the Olympic Opening Ceremony too FFS)

I couldnt agree more.
Macca...his voice just isnt what it used to be and people should move on, he is coming close to being an embarrassment. Mind you old Tom Jones still has a set of lungs on him!
I thought Ed Sheeran sang incredibly well considering it was live, Cheryl Cole should be seen and never ever EVER heard.

Watched the ceremony, looked ok. Jones sure can sing, but what's happened to Elton's voice? Is that a lisp? Dentures not in properly perhaps? And yeah, Cheryl, oh dear... Even Jessie sounded better. Hope HRH enjoyed it, can never tell what she's thinking...

Elton probably had someone /thing stuck in his throat !
The commentators kept saying that the "Queen looked so happy".
