+1, awesome.

When I was 17, we took a mk1 (5 people and camping gear) to cornwall and back.
Had to change the head gasket over-night at the M3 services. (torque wrench ?, what torque wrench)
Then blatted it about for two weeks and covered about a 1000 miles.

(handled like a boat though)

My first car was a MkIII (GT)... albeit with a transit engine in it.
But it did have the double-round headlights, extra clocks and recarros.

And it was Bright Yellow (the banana car.. long before DK got his).
It naturally handled like sh*t, but I thought looked great and you could start it with a 2p piece.

Oh and changing the "void bushes" happened every few months !

What EMS you using as I cannot see the AFM.

Seriously this is a nice motor. Must be fast in a straight line :biggrin3:
