as of today, Audi UK achieved sales units in 2011 surpassing its previous all time record in the UK set in 2008

Well done Audi, but I prefer the good old days when they weren't such an obvious choice. I remember as a kid when I was a big Audi fanatic and my friends didn't even know what they were. Shame they are now so common, good news for the shareholders though I suppose. The US is where it matters most and they are far behind BMW/Merc there, but are catching up!

Out of interest what are the biggest selling brands in Britain then? Ford, Vauxhall, VW, Peugoet, Audi...?
I was at an Audi presentation in Munich and they already reckon they sell more cars then BMW and Benz way ahead of their aim to be the biggest premium brand by 2015.
