Hi there am new to the forum and have been to look today at a 2003 S4.
The car seems to be in generally good condition and has full audi service history. However it has only been owned by the current owner for 6 months and had been left sitting for a long time when i cam to look at it. The car started up mechanically sound no smoke and first time. however during the test drive there was a 'whiring' sound from the rear drivers side wheel. It sounded very much like a bearing gone but not too sure.
Any other ideas? Could it just be something not freeing up having been sat there for so long? Under braking it didnt seem to make much of a difference.
Thanks in advance.
Will
