Thought i'd let you know after purchasing my very much loved rs6 5 weeks ago i put her into my local garage to have the car serviced I decided to put an additive in the gear box it's all right i'm waiting for it
I now know this was not the right thing to do NOW, but the garage recommend the additive and i thought all would be well anyway turns out gear box doesn't like the additive so cut to the chase it's now cost me £2500 and thats the garage meeting me half way
I thought additives were there to protect engines/transmissions not destroy them. I've looked up google and it looks its happened before when additives have been added to triptronic gearboxes costly mistake, but here looking forward to giving her a good thrashing once the new gear box is replaced.
