Im presented with a dilemma. Im a huge fan of this colour, however it seems a lot of my friends think its slightly garish, or dare i say it slightly tacky. Personally, it think it sets off any performance car having a distinct paint scheme, hence why I like Daytona yellow on E36 M3's.

Imola is a great colour. Never comes out aswell in pics as it does in the flesh.

IMO looks better with black optics, unsure about the yellow & chrome thing...

My first car was yellow - have had a soft spot for them ever since. However, the re-sale market is smaller so as long as it priced right all should be good!

I really really really really really want an Imola B6 S4, I bought a Z4 Coupe because all my pals were going to rib me for getting an 'old mans' car. Now i somewhat regret buying the Z4 and am hankering after V8 goodness, should have listened to myself.

The Z4 is a great car dont get me wrong, but ive been heavily involved with the VAG scene for years now, so I feel somewhat detached now I own a BMW.

Seems Imola B6 saloons are like rocking horse poop unfortunately, dont want a B7 as i want some change to spend on H&R coilovers, Oettinger front bumper and 19" wheels (VAG wheels i hsten to add)

Are the black optics still available to buy? I too think chrome and yellow is a but fussy.

ChrisW do you mean Dakar Yellow, if so, I agree, does look good on the e36.

I always liked the B5 RS4 in Imola or Nogaro. Not sure about the B7, but I usually think a colour that has been used for press is a good choice. Colour is sore topic for me as I have two Avus cars. I have decided that I don't care what colour a car is as long as it is right, and a vinyl wrap can always fix serious colour dilemmas.

I love mine, had it over 2years now and never want another car, people do notice it and you wont be able to mingle in with other traffic, but you'll never lose it in a car park

I do like Imola too easy to spot by the boys in blue though.

Not Imola, but out of the loud colours I do like this Orange. Not sure if its Papaya or Solar Orange.

Prefer that to yellow. Very nice
