So has has anyone on here been on are going? Just came back last night and got to say it was quieter on public opening day than I thought it would be. Highlight was the Lambo stand, those who see the Aventador in orange will be impressed but it is not a patch on the one they have in Estoque grey upstairs.
And the Audi stand... disappointing. The RS models were all in red will all other cars silver. Better than sh**e brown / white combo last year but on the whole the cars are underwhelming, even the RS's with exception to the R8 Spyder which was the forefront model. It was almost as if to say, this is the pinacle of what we can do and the others (RS5, TT-RS raodster and then RS3 at back) are how far we have gone wrong. New A3 concept looks promising though.
I'll post some pics up once I have them up on photobucket later.

A3 concept looks more like my B7 A4 2.0 Tdi company car. I like it!!! more shapely, better proportioned.

I went for a "work" reason .. To be honest was pretty "nerrr". However good to see money back in the Car trade shows, however nothing really "wow" on the announcements ...
Jag XKRS looked good, Porsche 918 is sexy, Ferrari FF is just UGLY in so many ways, Lambo Aventador was OK ish
Was hugely disappointed in the Audi stand .. as Just nothing with a wow factor
New Bentley looks naff in the flesh .. way too bloated now
MTM's Chrome R8 was everything that is wrong with chrome wrapped cars ...complete WAG car

chatted to one of the techie guys today about the A3 Concept; 400hp from the 5 pot hints at a promising future ?? He also sugested RS4 in 2012.
Had a chance to compare RS3 and BMW1M; RS3 looks rubbish, disapointingly mundane, something of E30M3 about the 1M. I liked it.
Mansory were surprisingly tame, Ferrari FF was disappointing but the FIAT500 with Carbon bits and Compomotive wheels in the tuner hall looked great (for the missus, obviously!!). Was hoping to see 997GT2RS and 918 in road trim, but no joy.
First time to Geneva and quite enjoyed it.

Great pics, looks like a interesting collection this year. Agree about the Ferrari, his face would no doubt have been a Kodak moment.
The Jag looks impressive.

The 4 rings on the RS3 look a bit sparkly. Was it just the lights or did it have a bejewelled badge?

It was the lighting, although Audi seem to do a high bling chrome version for their stand cars; did the same last year in the RS5 wheels
I did think it quite ironic that every time I went to take a pic of the RS3 the population demographic who are likely to lust after / buy it were clambering all over it, i.e. 'yoovs'!

You see the front wing vents, shiney black plastic. The rear end was the best bit, you get the feeling they were just trying a bit too hard to be showy with this car (especially when you compared it to the E-Type sitting behind it where everyone was looking) and I hate to be dictated to in that I can only have one colour. Shame really, it could have been a real Aston beater especially with their bland line up diluted even further by the Virage. Ooh, I have £10k more than I need for a V12 Vantage but £20k less than a DBS, I'll have a Virage. WTF!

They are going the Porsche route, dull dull dull.
