HELP!!! Lost car keys...

Post by 1781cc » Wed Jan 12, 2011 7:57 pm

hi peeps, in a bit of a pickle...

lost my car keys today, the only key I had for the car, Police haven't had any handed in yet either so not sure where they are, turfed the house over and retraced my steps, nothing!

so, a quick search on google reveals loads of 'mobile lost key' recovery companies, all with mobile numbers...

anyone used one? any other suggestions?

I dont really fancy telling someone where my car is only for them to half inch it when I am not looking...

seriously stressed...

id say they could get you in but wont be able to make you a key, they will only be good if you locked your keys in the car, and if they open it you will have an open car, which wont be very secure, your best bet is to leave it locked, and order a key from audi with your chassis nimber.

is the car on the drive?

lol, I didn't even think about the membership, but I didn't know where the right place to post was, obviously security, general and B6 S4 seemed logical. I just needed to find a solution that didn't involve me waking up in the morning with no car on the drive, if it costs me the membership on the forum so be it, in my eyes its not like I am spamming, I have a legitimate problem where my car keys have gone walkabout along with my house keys so a forum membership is the least of my issues.

anyway, that aside, thanks for the response mate, you make sense about the car staying locked, neighbours are all on watchout duty too
