I wish I understood this...

"SIGNIFICANT EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
Warrantywise aim to provide You with the highest Level
of Cover, however there are some things this
insurance may not provide. Importantly these
Exclusions and Limitations include:
• Worn Out Parts."

Worn out parts are defined as:

"Parts which have simply worn out
and are at the end of their normal, operating life."

With me so far?

The policy then states what is covered:

"What is Insured
ALL MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC PARTS COVERED
This insurance is designed to cover ‘all mechanical’,
‘all electrical’ and ‘all electronic’ Parts of Your Vehicle.
There is no restrictive list of Parts, We simply include
all such Parts.
ALSO INCLUDED
Failure Due to Wear and Tear: You are protected
against the cost of repairing or replacing parts that
suffer a Failure due to Wear and Tear.
Failure due to Wear and Tear is defined as: The
premature Failure of a Part due to Wear and Tear
resulting in a permanent loss of the Part’s ability to
operate. (Whether a Part has suffered a Failure due to
Wear and Tear is determined by comparing the extent
of wear on the failed Part with other associated or
similar Parts, if no such wear is apparent then this
would be deemed a Failure due to Wear and Tear.)"

Where wear and tear is defined as:

"Deterioration which happens to a Part
during ordinary use over time."

So a part that fails due to wear is covered so long as it is not worn out?! :)

Must be very difficult to draw the line?

I don't have a WarrantyWise warranty but was sent an email with a £40 off voucher today and I was comparing the my Warranty Direct policy with the WarrantyWise terms. My oil cooler failure was refused under WD's policy as corrosion is excluded. Corrosion doesn't appear to be specifically excluded in WWs terms but I can't work out if would still be covered...
